Happy Hearts Story
Hello! I’m Rhawnie I started Happy Hearts Childcare after my children were grown and gone and I found myself missing the kiddos! However, my experience includes over 20 certifications in child development, children with special needs, trauma, behavioral issues and so much in between! I started volunteering with special needs children when I was 14 years old and realized that my heart was with the kiddos. After being a Nanny to foster children, a family advocate at a large daycare center/preschool and doing supervised visits for parents who needed them- I have found myself blessed enough to start my own Faith based small family owned in home childcare center!

I enjoy hiking, camping, and soaking up as much sun as we can during our short summer months ☀️I live in Wasilla, Alaska. On KGB- mile 4, with my fiancé, and we look forward to visits from our grown children and our two Grandchildren.
I have experience with children from ages 0-18 years old with any type of special needs or dietary restrictions, having attended nursing school at College of the Redwoods in California.

Rhawnie at Happy Hearts Childcare has provided wonderful care for my children for over a year now. My children come home happy, clean and in excited to go back to see Miss. Rhawnie.
